As part of our Back to Basics series, we are holding a Webinar on POCT External Quality Assessment on Thursday 8th December 2022 (13:00-14:00).

This webinar is dedicated to describe and explain the Birmingham Quality angle on POCT EQA delivery.

We will be going through the various report styles we have in detail, for HbA1c, Lipids, Urine Dipsticks etc.  We will be covering EQA for sites under Laboratory/Hospital control as well as EQA for Community testing, such as Pharmacies, Health Fitness Centres and the like. It is for both end users and for POCT network coordinators etc.

The webinar is not a sales pitch as it is designed for existing participants, but if you are new to the field or are considering widening your POCT repertoire, you may find this Webinar helpful. It will be live on Zoom with some interaction through Zoom’s poll feature.

You will be able to see a bit more on how the Schemes are structured, how report formats, network / hub monitoring is laid out and how results compare to laboratory tests etc.

This is a free-to-attend event and is offered to labs/individuals who participate in programmes with Birmingham Quality.
