- Joined UK NEQAS Immunocytochemistry and In Situ Hybridisation in 2010 and became Scheme Manager in 2017 and Deputy Director in 2020.
- HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist and Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Scientists
- Over 25 years laboratory experience, including clinical, research and Quality Assurance, specialising in immunocytochemistry and in situ hybridisation.

- Module tutor for MSc level at Greenwich University.
- Member of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (IBMS) Cellular Pathology Advisory Committee.
- Examiner for the IBMS Diploma of Expert Practice in Immunocytochemistry.

- Member of the Consortium for Analytical Standardization in Immunohistochemistry (CASI).
